Woodlands Caravan Park
Ceredigion
Family-run touring park in the Rheidol valley, 12 miles from Aberystwyth
About Woodlands Caravan Park
Woodlands Caravan Park sits in the village of Devil's Bridge, in the wooded Rheidol valley about twelve miles inland from Aberystwyth, making it a good base for the waterfalls and the narrow-gauge steam railway as much as for the coast. The family-run park has built up a strong reputation over the years, holding a four-star Welsh Tourist Board grading and recent TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice recognition alongside a Pitchup award.
The park takes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, and also has static caravans and gypsy caravan-style glamping pods for anyone who wants a roof without towing one in. Dogs are welcome across the park, and the surrounding forestry trails, the Ystwyth cycle route and good walking country make it a popular choice for active visitors as well as families.
Beyond Devil's Bridge Falls on the doorstep, the park makes a workable base for birdwatching, fishing and mountain biking in the wider Cambrian Mountains, with Aberystwyth itself a straightforward drive or a ride on the Vale of Rheidol steam railway away for a day at the coast.
