Haddon Grove Farm Campsite

Working farm campsite with direct access to Lathkill Dale, three miles from Bakewell
About Haddon Grove Farm Campsite
Haddon Grove Farm Campsite occupies five well-drained fields on a working farm above Over Haddon, roughly three miles from Bakewell and with direct access on foot to Lathkill Dale, one of the least disturbed limestone dales in the Peak District National Park. The farm has run camping alongside its agricultural business for years, and it shows in the practical, unfussy set-up: around 140 pitches spread across the fields, a family field with its own play space, and twenty hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up for caravans and motorhomes.
Two shower blocks were newly installed in 2025, bringing the washing facilities up to date alongside the existing washing-up areas, and the on-site shop sells basics along with kindling and logs for fire pits, which can be hired for the evening. At weekends a wood-fired pizza van sets up on site, and a mobile catering van serves breakfasts and evening meals through the week, useful for anyone who would rather not cook after a day on the dale paths. Dogs are welcome on leads, campfires and barbecues are permitted, and the farm also offers caravan and motorhome storage for regular visitors to the area.
The site's position inside Lathkill Dale itself, rather than simply near it, is its main draw: walkers can set off directly from the tent without a drive to a trailhead, and the farm regularly hosts Duke of Edinburgh expedition groups making use of the same paths.
