About Ballywhiskin Caravan and Camping Park
Ballywhiskin Caravan and Camping Park sits on the Ballywalter Road just outside Millisle, a few minutes' walk from the beach and rock pools of the Ards Peninsula coast. It has been run as a family caravan and camping park for decades and takes tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and small campervans on grass and hardstanding pitches with electric hookup.
On-site facilities include a modern shower and toilet block, a children's playground, a small animal farm that keeps younger visitors entertained, a laundry room and a shop selling essentials and a small food bar for evenings when nobody fancies cooking. The park also has static caravans for sale on site, alongside its touring and camping pitches.
It makes a straightforward, unfussy base for a beach holiday on the Ards Peninsula, within easy reach of Millisle and Ballywalter's shops and pubs, and about a twenty-minute drive from Bangor for day trips into the town. The park is open seasonally from April to mid-November and dogs are welcome throughout.
