Quiet 43-pitch touring park near Millisle beach, 8 miles from Bangor
About Woodlands Caravan Park
Woodlands Caravan Park is a small, family-run touring site at Ballyhaskin on the edge of Millisle, roughly three and a half acres set back from the Ards Peninsula coast road. It is a member of the British Holiday & Home Parks Association and keeps a deliberately low-key, well-maintained feel rather than chasing size.
The park has forty-three pitches in total, split between thirty-one serviced 'super' pitches with electric hookup and hard standing, and sixteen grass pitches, of which sixteen are set aside specifically for tents. Touring caravans and motorhomes are both welcome, and the compact layout means it rarely feels crowded even in peak season.
Millisle's beach, shop and pubs are a short walk away, and the wider Ards Peninsula coast road makes for easy exploring by bike or car, with Bangor around twenty minutes' drive to the north-west. Bookings are taken by phone or email with a deposit and cash balance on arrival, keeping costs down for guests. The site operates seasonally through spring, summer and autumn.
