Bryn Melyn is a deliberately small operation - just three apartments on Panorama Road above Barmouth, sleeping up to ten guests between them - built around spectacular views over the Mawddach Estuary towards Cadair Idris. Each apartment has its own fully fitted kitchen, en-suite bedrooms and a private sitting area, making it better suited to a self-catering stay than a conventional hotel room.

Guests share an elegant terrace and deck furnished for outdoor dining, with a barbecue available and views that stretch the length of the estuary. The setting is quiet and residential, a short walk or drive above the town, giving easy access to Barmouth's beach, harbour and railway station while offering considerably more space and privacy than most of the town's accommodation.

The apartments suit couples, families or small groups wanting a longer stay with room to spread out, cook their own meals, and enjoy one of the best views in Barmouth from a private terrace rather than a hotel window.
