Kingsbridge Caravan and Camping Park is a small, family-run touring site set in fourteen acres of farmland only two miles from Beaumaris, with the castle, pier and restaurants an easy drive or cycle away. It has built a strong reputation over many years, holding a Gold Conservation Award for over a decade alongside a four-star Wales Tourist Board rating, and the surrounding hedgerows and mature trees keep road noise well away from the pitches, giving the site a settled, unhurried feel that regulars return to year after year.
The park is split between an adults-only field with hardstanding and grass pitches and separate family fields nearby, giving couples and those travelling with children each their own quieter corner of the site. All touring pitches have electric hook-ups, and the on-site facilities include modern shower and toilet blocks kept to a high standard throughout the season. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome per pitch, kept on leads around the grounds, and the flat, sheltered layout makes it straightforward for larger outfits to manoeuvre and set up.
Open from March to the end of October, Kingsbridge suits couples, walkers and families who want a genuinely peaceful rural base within a few minutes of Beaumaris and the wider Anglesey coastline, rather than an on-site entertainment programme. Its size and long-standing management keep it well looked after without ever feeling crowded, even in the busier summer weeks, and the surrounding lanes make for pleasant cycling straight into town or out toward the coast at Llangoed and Penmon.
