Titanic Hotel Belfast occupies the former drawing offices and headquarters of Harland & Wolff, the shipyard that built the Titanic, restored with much of the original panelling, drawing hall ceiling and boardroom fittings intact. Rooms are arranged around the old drafting rooms, several retaining full-height windows designed to give shipwrights natural light for their work, and public spaces are dotted with original ship plans and shipyard memorabilia.

Its position directly on the Titanic Quarter slipways puts it within a few minutes' walk of Titanic Belfast, SS Nomadic and the Thompson Dry Dock, making it a natural base for anyone visiting primarily for the ship's history, and the hotel restaurant serves modern Irish food in the former drawing hall itself.

The wider Titanic Quarter is quieter at night than the city centre, roughly a fifteen-minute walk or short taxi ride away, which suits guests wanting some distance from weekend nightlife.
