Riverside Touring and Holiday Home Park
Conwy
Large touring park in the heart of the village after a multi-million pound rebuild
About Riverside Touring and Holiday Home Park
Riverside Touring and Holiday Home Park occupies a large site right in Betws-y-Coed itself, run by the Morris Leisure group and rebuilt in recent years as part of a multi-million pound redevelopment. It is by far the biggest and best-equipped camping option in the immediate area, with around sixty touring pitches, a further block of tenting and camping pitches, and a separate area of static holiday homes.
Every touring pitch is hardstanding or a super pitch with electric hook-up, and many also have water connections, aimed squarely at caravans and motorhomes rather than at campers wanting a rustic field. The heated amenity block includes disabled facilities, a laundry room, an on-site shop for essentials and forgotten items, and wifi across the park, making it a practical stop for anyone touring North Wales for a week or more rather than just passing through.
Its location inside the village means everything in Betws-y-Coed, from the shops and pubs to the station and the river rocks at Pont-y-Pair, is within easy walking distance, which suits families and those without a car more than the quieter farm sites further out. Dogs are welcome, and the combination of full facilities and a central position makes this the most convenient choice for tourers, even if it lacks the seclusion of the smaller sites nearby.
