Packed lunches can be arranged for walkers, and the owners will book taxis to and from trailheads, which makes linear routes on the Beacons Way straightforward without a second car.

The location works well for anyone wanting to walk into town for dinner rather than drive: Brecon's restaurants, pubs, the cathedral and the canal basin are all within ten minutes on foot, and the theatre and Sunday market are close by. Off-street parking is limited, so confirm a space when you book. It suits couples, walkers and cyclists who want a well-run small property rather than hotel facilities.
