Brook Lodge Farm Camping & Caravan Park

Somerset

Family-run touring park by a stream, eight miles south of Bristol

About Brook Lodge Farm Camping & Caravan Park

Brook Lodge Farm sits in the village of Chew Magna, around eight miles south of Bristol on the edge of the Mendip Hills, and offers a quieter, more rural alternative to camping in the city itself. The five-acre park is arranged around grassland and wildflower meadows with a stream running through it, and the working farm setting gives it a genuinely rural feel despite its easy reach of both Bristol and Bath.

The park has pitches for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, all with electric hook-up available across a mix of grass and hardstanding pitches, plus a separate paddock area for group bookings. Facilities include modern shower and toilet blocks, a family bathroom, a motorhome service point, free WiFi and a children's playground, making it a practical choice for families as well as couples touring the area. A small on-site shop covers essentials, and the farm's local knowledge is useful for planning day trips into Bristol, Bath or the Chew Valley.

Dogs are welcome throughout the site, and the surrounding lanes and footpaths around Chew Magna and the nearby Chew Valley Lake make for good dog walks straight from the pitch. The park is well placed for the M5, making it useful both as a base for exploring Bristol and as a stopover for those travelling further into the South West, and its village location means a pub and shop are within easy walking distance for evenings when you would rather not cook.
