Beech Croft Farm is a small, quiet caravan and camping site run by the same family for several generations, set on working farmland roughly midway between Buxton and Bakewell, just off the A515. Its position puts it within easy reach of both towns, as well as villages such as Chelmorton and Monyash, making it a genuinely central base for exploring the White Peak.
The site offers large hardstanding pitches for tourers, all with sixteen-amp electric hookup, water and a TV aerial socket, alongside tent pitches with their own prepaid electric supply so campers only pay for what they use. Facilities include an underfloor-heated toilet and shower block, a dog wash and exercise area, a small children's play area, and Daisies coffee shop by the reception serving breakfasts and lunches. A small on-site shop stocks basic provisions along with camping gas and Calor cylinders.
The farm setting and genuinely personal management make it popular with families and dog owners looking for somewhere low-key rather than resort-like, and the flat, well-maintained pitches suit larger tourers as well as tents. Its central position between Buxton and Bakewell means it works equally well as a base for either town, with Chelmorton and the Monsal Trail both a short drive away.
