What visitors say
It’s essentially just a field with no real management, which may suit some people. But if you end up near groups drinking late into the night, your trip can quickly be ruined. We had a group of four around 50 metres from us who stayed up talking and drinking until 4am. Just be aware there’s nobody on-site to complain to or manage noise issues. These groups clearly know this place exists, so it seems to be doing the rounds on social media and attracting that kind of crowd.

A very good campsite! Clean facilities, noticed a food service available as well including breakfast and dinner (pizza). Amazing base and look forward to returning for more hiking adventures from this campsite.

Where to begin … could be fantastic but on arrival blinds were broken. Then the oven caught fire on the first night so wasn’t usable for the duration of the stay, dishwasher didn’t work which wasn’t ideal for such a large booking. Then hot water stopped working for last 2 days (we had lots of young children who couldn’t bathe) and was never fixed and finally daughter caught skin infection from the poorly maintained hot tub Owner refuses to give compensation to the booker of the party for a property that simply wasn’t suitable for holiday rentals for most of the stay but in particular the 2 days with no hot water; because these are out of her control! In my view symptoms of someone not maintaining their property properly The house is being sold so I think really she just can’t be bothered

Best campsite I’ve been to in years! Great views, great walks and a legendary Host. We were big group of 9 mates, and were welcomed by host Collin. Nicest guy ever and gave us permission to have as much fun as we wanted and we did without any complaints. Great weekend and will definitely go back!
