Laneside Farm

​We had a wonderful time staying in the Bella caravan at Laneside Caravan Park. We absolutely loved the riverside location and the facilities are great. The toilet and shower block is modern, clean and really fresh. We even used the dog wash for our tiny dog, Bela, who loved the whole holiday. I'll admit that emptying the toilet cassette at the caravan was certainly an experience! Not for the faint hearted 🤣 ​It's a fantastic location for doing the Padley Gorge walk and visiting Ladybower Reservoir. We even had a lovely hedgehog visitor come and eat some of our dog food in the evening. ​We're a bit sad that we missed a lot of the bar and food options since we stayed during the week, but we absolutely loved the breakfast cobs on Friday morning. We'll definitely be back!

This little site is a real gem. Stayed for 3 nights. Beautiful big pitches ran by a great team. Had everything you would need onsite and just a 5 minute walk into Hope village. Regular buses from just outside the gate. Gorgeous view all round and especially of Mam Tor. We would definitely stay here again

Stayed 2 night 11 & 12th July 2026. A group of 4 friends and 4 dogs in 2 campervans. Upon arrival we were allocated 2 pitches. Unfortunately 1 of the pitches had no shade and in the extreme heat of the midday sun 1 of the dogs was getting quite stressed. Upon asking if they could be reallocated to another pitch with some shade, we were told that the site was full but they would see what they could do. The staff went out of their way to make this happen, which was greatly appreciated as it obviously required some reorganisation of pitches. They also managed to find us 2 pitches next to each other. We and the dogs were most grateful for this. The shower areas were always clean. The bar was staffed by friendly people with a great selection of beers and ciders. But is only open on a Friday and Saturday evening. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for a week during the hottest week ever! Its a lovely well managed and tidy place with very friendly helpful staff. Its a nice quiet campsite with all amenities you would need. The place is well tended and looked after. Onsite laundry, showers, cafe, elsan, toilets, fresh water, electric hook up. Good variety of pitches grass, hard standing and all very roomy. No loud music or rowdy groups when we were here. There is a dog field just a five minute walk up the road which is really good to let them have a good run around without fear of them running off, (we have a husky)! The field is gated and fenced so keep the little canines in safely. The entrance and exit are both barrier codes so it keeps strangers offsite which is reassuring. Its located about 15mins from Ladybower and a great base camp for exploring. The only thing i would say, if any criticism or being picky, is the traffic noise can be noisy occasionally. We would definitely return again.
