Hawthorn Farm Guest House
Fairfield, edge of town · Guest House
A 16th-century Grade II listed farmhouse B&B on Fairfield Road, with rooms in the main house and a converted barn.
About Hawthorn Farm Guest House
Hawthorn Farm is a Grade II listed farmhouse dating from the 16th century on Fairfield Road, on the edge of Buxton rather than in the thick of the town centre, giving it a genuinely rural feel while still being under a mile from the Opera House and market place. Current owners Paul and Sarah have renovated the rooms to a high standard while keeping the building's original character.
Four rooms are split between the main farmhouse and a converted barn across the drive, with the barn rooms welcoming dogs. A self-catering cottage, Lavender Cottage, is also available on site for longer stays or larger parties.
It suits dog owners, couples wanting a quieter edge-of-town setting, and visitors who prefer a genuine farmhouse atmosphere with a proper breakfast to a town-centre hotel.
