voco Cheltenham Spa
The Promenade, town centre · Hotel
A large Victorian hotel on the Promenade, formerly the Queens Hotel, now part of the voco brand.
About voco Cheltenham Spa
Occupying a landmark Georgian-fronted building at the top of the Promenade, this hotel has been one of Cheltenham's best-known addresses for well over a century, and continues to trade on its position overlooking the Imperial Gardens. It operates today under IHG's voco brand, having previously traded as the Queens Hotel.
The bedrooms are traditionally furnished, with the best rooms looking out over the gardens and the Promenade itself, and public areas retain a good deal of the original building's grand proportions, including a period bar and lounge. A restaurant serves breakfast and evening meals, and the hotel's ballroom is regularly used for weddings and events.
Its position could hardly be more central, sitting directly opposite the Imperial Gardens and within a few minutes' walk of the Promenade's shops, the Town Hall and Montpellier, making it a straightforward choice for visitors without a car.
