Bron-Y-Wendon Holiday Park

We recently returned to Bron-Y-Wendon for a 2 night stay in our campervan. We went with our friends and were allocated pitches next to each other. We both had a lovely sea view but whatever pitch you are allocated, you will have a stunning sea view. The park was clearly busy, but it had a calm, peaceful, and relaxing atmosphere throughout our entire stay. The facilities here are fantastic, both toilet and shower blocks were spotless, and the on-site laundry room is convenient should you need to access this. If you are travelling with children, there is a playground to keep them entertained. There was a pizza van that attended the site on Saturday and an ice cream van too. The reception stocks a good range of everyday essentials, which saves you from making unnecessary trips. The park is very close to a local bus stop with regular services running along the coast, meaning you can explore the area easily. We paid £12.50 for 2 people and the ticket allowed as many trips as you needed on the day of purchase. It is also just a brief walk into the local village of Llandullas which has a local shop, a pub, a fish and chip shop, and a curry house right nearby. We highly recommend Bron-Y-Wendon and will definitely be returning again!

What a gem of a find, large pitches well separated, clean & tidy park, perfectly situated for the local bus service up and down the coastline. Staff were very helpful and friendly, showers DIDN’T have push button showers and were clean and spacious. 5 mins walk to the beach and coastal walk with a lively cafe placed strategically with lovely ladies serving. All pitches have sea views and the sunsets were amazing, all pitches fully serviced, absolute gem of a site and well worth a second visit for us.

Lovely well kept site with easy access from A55. Pitches were most hardstanding for the caravan and awning if you booked an awning pitch. All the staff we met were helpful and friendly. Toilets and showers were clean. Laundry a little dated but worked fine. We were very close to the railway so the early morning goods train did wake me but I’m a light sleeper. No dog walk on site but most people just walked their dogs around the site. 5mins walk away is the coast path and a lovely riverside walk great for walking your dog. Beach was rock/pebble with a little sand at low tide, Conwy is a short drive away for a sandy beach. Site is so well placed to get to lots of places, Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet and Anglesey 35mins away in different directions. Tesco about 10mins and Aldi 5mins. Bus stop and local shop about 5min walk. There are some static caravans and cottages if you have friends who don’t have a caravan/motorhome. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Just returned from our second visit this season. 18 nights over 2 visits speaks for itself_ we love it here. Access is easy from A55. Welcome always friendly and helpful. Cleanliness faultless. Site maintenance ensures grounds are immaculate. The views ;Little Orme to the west and Rhyl to the east we never tire of. Site prices may be higher than some sites but this site offers quality in all aspects. Yes you can hear the traffic on the A55 but advantages far outweigh this. Skill is needed with awning pitching as the site is subject to strong on shore winds. Ruth Dallaway
