This is camping barn is a rare treat. It has a outdoorsy/no nonsense vibe that is hard to find these days. It was very easy to feel very at home at the barn. There are 3 dorm rooms - two of which are en-suites. With a variety of single beds and bunk beds. There is also a spacious bathroom with hot showers, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you could need to cook (we had a pizza night!) The living room is the star attraction though, with a commanding fireplace, big oak tables, comfy sofas, a piano and beautiful beams across the ceilings. We visited the nearby town of Betws-y-Coed which was very picturesque. We did a circular walk and visited a waterfall and then came across a Christmas Market which was very sweet and festive. In the evening we had a Sunday Roast in a nearby pub and it was genuinely one of the best roasts of my life. I would recommend this barn to any outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy no fuss, authentic stays

Blink and you'll miss the entrance. It is literally slam on. I drove past twice before finding it. I saw a man when I first arrived. He told me to just find somewhere on the field. I had it to myself. A few negatives unfortunately. The shower block is dated and hadn't been cleaned. The lock on the shower door was broke so it was a case of pray no one comes in and have a quick spin. No bin for cardboard and food waste so had to take it with me. The field is on a busy noisy road. Neighbours dog was barking all night on my first night keeping me awake. I never saw any staff my whole 3 nights to mention issues with shower and bins. Positives. A large, well kept, clean field with a gate closed at all times. If you just need a quick stop over then it's for you. 10 minute drive to Conwy which is beautiful.

I stayed here for 1 night & can't fault it. Claudia is friendly and prompt when returning calls to arrange booking. Spacious camping area with spotless toilets & shower. My dog & I can't wait to return & £10 a night is reasonable... Can't understand why people charge more. Claudia isn't greedy which is a rare quality 😉 and very much appreciated 👍

For camping this is a small but popular site, close to a road, that's very convenient for Bodnant gardens, the Water Gardens and Conwy town. When we visited the adjoining backpackers hostel was full and noisy, and the owner seemed a little overwhelmed, but there was no issue. Toilet block is decent. The site could do with some sort of signage before the site as it is right on the corner of a 60mph road.
