Eisteddfa Caravan and Camping Park
Gwynedd
Family-run touring park with sweeping Cardigan Bay views, a mile from Criccieth
About Eisteddfa Caravan and Camping Park
Eisteddfa sits above Pentrefelin, barely a mile inland from Criccieth, on an eleven-acre site that looks straight out over Cardigan Bay towards the Llŷn Peninsula and back towards the peaks of Snowdonia. It is a family-run park, AA four-pennant rated, and has built a loyal following among touring caravanners and tent campers who come back year after year for the views and the quiet, well-kept pitches.
The park takes tents, trailer tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, with a good number of hardstanding and electric hook-up pitches alongside grass tent pitches, and a play area keeps children occupied without straying far from the vans. For those without their own equipment, a small collection of timber camping cocoons sleeping up to four offer a simple glamping alternative, several with sea views towards the bay.
Criccieth's castle, beaches and shops are a short drive or a manageable walk away, and the park makes a comfortable base for exploring the wider Llŷn Peninsula and Snowdonia beyond. Its rural setting keeps things calm in the evenings, while the on-site facilities and friendly, long-standing ownership make it a dependable choice for families and couples alike.
