Perfect base to explore north and mid Devon from. Good, clean facilities and a lovely couple who manage the sight are on hand if needed. Ideally placed across the road from a vineyard where you can book tours and wine tasting. Also a lovely bar and restaurant and artisan shops. Fantastic dog friendly pub which serves good quality food only 15-20 min walk away.

We stayed on this in August 2024 . Leon and Lesley were very accommodating especially as our booking was at short notice, nothing was too much trouble and we really enjoyed our stay. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful site close to Barnstaple we would fully recommend, we intend to return in 2025.

We've been here a couple of times this year and we will be returning next year. It's a lovely site with amazing views. The shower block and toilets are always lovely and clean. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. It's a very peaceful family site with sheep, chickens and a few peacocks. It's close to local amenities but far enough out in the country to feel like you're out in the middle of nowhere. It's excellent value for money and I would thoroughly recommend to anyone.

This is a lovely campsite, very family friendly. The fields are very open allowing for the children to play while the parents can always see them. The toilet and shower facilities are always spotlessly clean, the owner is very friendly and does her absolute best to help wherever she can, the prices are very reasonable making this an excellent base to be able to explore beautiful North Devon and beyond. Highly recommend.
