Golden Cap Holiday Park

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely caravan and would happily return. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. The location was absolutely perfect. Surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside and just a short distance from the stunning Jurassic Coast, it was an ideal base for exploring the local beaches, villages, and coastal walks. The peaceful surroundings made it easy to unwind and enjoy the scenery. What really made our holiday special was the incredible staff. Every member of the team was so friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and dedication really stood out and made us feel valued throughout our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would highly recommend this caravan and the park to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful part of the country. Thank you to everyone for making our stay so memorable!

The best of locations nestled on the side of a hill overlooking the beach below. The accomodation is up to date and modern and cool in these recent temperatures if you leave to doors open for a good blow through, though some minor wear and tear issues with shower doors which need an overhaul! On the whole this is very minor 😉 There is no visitor parking though the beach carpark a three minute walk away is £8 a day and the gate shuts just after the pub closes😆 There is a Spar shop and a Pizzeria which is open Thursday Friday Saturday and Sunday, you can use the Just eat app and have Dominoes Chinese or Indian delivered in just 20 mins locally. The pebble beach is steep and as a strap dropoff so you can get up to your neck deep within ten feet of the shoreline. There are no Lifeguards here. This is a very quiet and tranquil place to stay, a swimming pool would be a lovely addition on this site but if that's what you want you can drive about fifteen minutes away and use the local pool free of charge as a Golden Cap resident👍🏻

Lovely caravan park overlooking Seatown Beach, with great opportunity to do some good fossiling. We had a 3 night stay in a 4 berth caravan over the Easter 2026 weekend. The park was nice and peaceful and the caravan was lovely and comfortable - Very clean and modern with nice decor. The heating worked well as the weather was still a bit cool at night. Hot water was available as soon as we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped and had all the facilities that we needed to self cater. The main bedroom had plenty of storage space and an ensuite toilet and there was the main bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, all spotlessley clean. Plenty of power sockets throughout the caravan with USB connections for mobile devices. Golden Cap site now has a Pizzeria onsite, although we didn't use it, it looked nice. Also good Spar shop on site. The Anchor pub is just two minutes walk down the road by the beach and they have a nice snack shack outside doing drinks, breakfast baps in the morning and pizzas from lunchtime. The public car park is by the beach and so are public toilets. All in all a lovely spot along this part of the coast with Lyme Regis/Charmouth and Bridport/WestBay just a few miles away in either direction.

We stayed in one of the lodges that had a partial sea view but it was a very good view. Lovely veranda. The lodge itself had all you needed in facilities & utensils etc and clean. Quiet location which suited us. The site was well maintained and clean & tidy. The shop was well stocked. The staff were both friendly and helpful. Great location for the avid walker & dog friendly. Lovely pub/restaurant within 5mins walk overlooking the beach. A little challenging if mobility restricted. Would recommend though.
