Lovely break in beautiful English Dorset countryside. Turn your phone off and get in touch with yourself. We had a lovely Italian meal on the second night and it was all healthy and nutritious. Stayed 2 nights and felt refreshed. Recommend if you want a break from the business of daily life.

Spent an awesome weekend here on a course (there were several different courses running that weekend - foraging and hedge laying were two of them). The grounds are stunning, the staff are kind, attentive, and very friendly. My room was spacious, comfortable, and had a lovely view over the grounds. The food which was vegetarian, was plentiful, nourishing, and extremely tasty. I highly recommend staying here whether you want some time away or just enjoy an adventure.

Dear Monkton Wyld Community Thank you. We had such a wonderful time.... Please thank everyone in the community. The atmosphere, the food, the place was just so ideal for what we needed to form our Biodanza tribe community based on respect for life and honouring the sacredness of life each other, nature etc. Biodanza workshops and pampering each other in nature Everyone loved Monkton Wyld and the nature. The rooms were beautiful the staff were really attentive and the food was healthy and delicious and thank you for your attentiveness to our needs. Also to confirm our date for next year 23-26 May 2026 It made everything easier for me to organise and helped to make everything go smoothly. The participants absolutely loved the place!

Monkton Wyld Court is an amazing community-led, delightfully quirky, sustainable B&B on the edge of the Devon/Dorset border, a few minutes drive from Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast. If you are looking to get away from modern life for a bit, get back in touch with nature and lower your heart rate by 50%, this is the place for you. The food is rustic, vegetarian and some of the most delicious food I've ever eaten (card carrying carnivore here). I have been coming to MWC for nearly a decade now, and I always come away feeling far healthier than when I arrive. There are some single bed dorm rooms, some private double rooms, as well as a few twins and family rooms. All of them feel like you're stepping back in time. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. If you want value for money, country retreat vibes and minimal fuss, look no further.
