Hawthorn Farm Caravan Park
Kent
Family-run touring park in open countryside four miles from Dover
About Hawthorn Farm Caravan Park
Hawthorn Farm Caravan Park occupies a quiet, well-screened field a few miles north-east of Dover, close to the village of Martin Mill and within easy reach of both the White Cliffs and the wider Kent coast. The park has been run by the same family for several decades and has a settled, unhurried feel, with generously sized pitches, mature hedging for shelter and a small shop stocking essentials for anyone not wanting to drive back into Dover.
Facilities are straightforward and well maintained, with modern shower and toilet blocks, electric hook-up on the majority of pitches, and space for tents, touring caravans and motorhomes alike. Dogs are welcome throughout the site, and there is a small play area for children, making it a practical choice for families as well as couples touring the coast. Martin Mill railway station is within walking distance, giving car-free access into Dover and along the coast towards Deal and Sandwich.
The park makes a good base for the White Cliffs, Dover Castle and the Roman fort at Richborough, all within a short drive, while the flat, well-drained pitches and reliable hook-up make it equally suited to a longer stay or a single overnight stop for ferry travellers.
