Waterside farm CL on Restronguet Creek, a short drive from Falmouth
About Restronguet Barton
Restronguet Barton is a working farm on the shore of Restronguet Creek, a quiet tidal inlet off the Fal Estuary a few miles north of Falmouth. The touring pitches form a small Caravan and Motorhome Club certificated location on the farm, limited to a handful of units at a time, alongside a pair of centuries-old self-catering cottages let separately, giving the whole site a settled, low-key character rather than a commercial holiday park feel.
As a certificated location, facilities are kept minimal by design: there is no toilet or shower block on site, but each pitch has access to an electric hook-up and a fresh water tap, along with a chemical waste point and recycling bins. What the site lacks in amenities it makes up for in setting, with several pitches looking directly out over the tidal creek, a genuinely peaceful spot for watching wading birds and the occasional working boat. Dogs are welcome throughout.
The site typically opens from spring through to the end of October, in keeping with its farm setting, and suits self-sufficient campers and caravanners with their own washing facilities who want a quiet, waterside pitch rather than an on-site shop or shower block, with Falmouth's town, beaches and harbour a short drive away for supplies and days out.
