Tregunwith Farm
Cornwall
Small, quiet farm site near Mylor Bridge, minutes from Falmouth
About Tregunwith Farm
Tregunwith Farm is a small, level campsite reached down a quiet lane on the edge of Mylor Bridge, a wooded creekside village a few miles from Falmouth on the Fal Estuary side of the peninsula. It is a Camping and Caravanning Club certificated site, kept deliberately simple, with generous grass pitches and space for a limited number of units at any one time, which keeps it peaceful even in the height of summer.
The on-site sanitary block covers the basics well, with separate facilities and hot showers, while pitches have the option of an electric meter for those who want hook-up. There is no shop on site, but Mylor Bridge itself has a village store and pub within easy walking distance, and Falmouth is a short drive or a longer coastal walk and ferry hop away for anyone wanting a day in town. Dog owners are welcomed without fuss, in keeping with the site's relaxed, farm-lane character.
What Tregunwith Farm lacks in facilities compared with a larger holiday park, it makes up for in setting and quiet: this is a spot for campers who want a genuinely rural base close to the water, rather than an activity-packed holiday centre, with Falmouth's beaches, harbour and restaurants all within easy reach for day trips.
