About Castle Archdale Caravan Park & Camping
Castle Archdale Caravan Park & Camping occupies part of Castle Archdale Country Park on the shore of Lower Lough Erne near Lisnarick, close to Irvinestown, and combines a working touring site with direct access to a wooded country park that was once a Second World War flying-boat base. The estate's mature woodland, walking trails and marina, along with the ferry crossing to White Island's carved stone figures, all sit within walking distance of the pitches.
The park takes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, and has added glamping pods and heritage pods for visitors without their own equipment, alongside static holiday homes. On-site facilities include free showers, electric hook-up, a boat launch, wifi, a launderette, a shop, a takeaway and the Pilots Nook bar and restaurant, making it one of the better-equipped sites in the county for a longer stay.
The park runs its main touring and camping season from the St Patrick's Day weekend in March through to Halloween weekend, with an aire de service for motorhomes operating through the winter months from November to February. Its combination of country park surroundings, on-site food and drink and lough access makes it a strong choice for families or anyone wanting a base with things to do without leaving the grounds.
