Share Discovery Village

Fermanagh

Charity-run watersports and activity centre with camping, caravan pitches and glamping pods

About Share Discovery Village

Share Discovery Village sits on a 60-acre estate on the shore of Upper Lough Erne near Lisnaskea, run as a registered charity built around inclusive outdoor activity for families, groups, schools and people with disabilities. The site's own frontage onto the lough gives direct access to canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and other watersports run by the centre's instructors, alongside land-based activities such as archery, bushcraft and rock climbing.

Accommodation on site ranges from camping pitches and a touring caravan park to self-catering chalets sleeping six, ten or twelve, newly added glamping pods, and full-board farmhouse bedrooms, giving a wider spread of options than most campsites in the county. The grounds are designed to be fully accessible throughout, a point Share makes central to its charitable mission rather than an afterthought.

Being a working activity centre as much as a campsite, Share suits visitors who want structured things to do close to where they are staying, particularly families and groups, over those simply looking for a quiet lakeside pitch. Its position on Upper Lough Erne, a quieter and more reed-fringed stretch of water than the lower lough, also makes it a good base for wildlife watching between activity sessions.
