Lough Erne Resort

Castle Hume, Belleek Road, Enniskillen · Hotel

A 600-acre lakeside resort near Enniskillen with two championship golf courses, a spa and three restaurants, once host to the G8 summit.

About Lough Erne Resort

Lough Erne Resort occupies 600 acres on a peninsula between Lower Lough Erne and Castle Hume Lough, a few minutes outside Enniskillen, and remains the county's benchmark five-star address. The estate hosted the G8 summit in 2013, and the scale of the grounds, gardens and golf courses still reflects that standing.

Golf is central to the resort, with the Faldo Course and the Castle Hume Course offering two very different 18-hole rounds, backed by a golf academy for lessons and practice. Away from the fairways, the Thai-inspired spa runs treatments and thermal facilities, and three separate venues, Catalina Restaurant, the Loughside Grill and the Blaney Bar, cover everything from formal dining to a casual pint with a lake view.

Bedrooms range from standard rooms to suites and self-catering lodges dotted around the grounds, giving families and larger groups more flexibility than a single hotel wing allows. An in-house fairytale trail for children and a full events and wedding operation round out a property built as much for longer stays and celebrations as for a single night on the road.
