Glen Nevis Caravan and Camping Park

Level pitches at the foot of Ben Nevis, two miles from Fort William
About Glen Nevis Caravan and Camping Park
Glen Nevis Caravan and Camping Park sits on the flat glen floor directly beneath Ben Nevis, roughly two miles from Fort William town centre and a short walk from the start of the Mountain Track. It is one of the best-known sites in the Highlands, popular with walkers tackling the summit and with families using it as a base for the wider area, and its position means the mountain is visible from much of the site on a clear day.
The park offers grass pitches for tents alongside hardstanding for caravans and motorhomes, plus a range of static and touring options for those without their own kit. Facilities include modern shower and toilet blocks, laundry facilities, an on-site shop stocking essentials and outdoor supplies, and a cafe serving breakfasts and evening meals, useful after a long day on the hill. Electric hook-ups are widely available across the touring pitches.
Glen Nevis itself offers gorge walks, waterfalls and access to the West Highland Way in addition to Ben Nevis, and the site's road connects directly back into Fort William for shops, the railway station and evening restaurants. Its popularity means summer booking well ahead is essential, particularly for pitches with hook-up during the main walking season from June to September.
