Lochside touring and camping park at Corpach, four miles from Fort William
About Linnhe Lochside Holidays
Linnhe Lochside Holidays occupies a shoreline setting on Loch Eil at Corpach, about four miles north-west of Fort William, with Ben Nevis and the surrounding hills visible across the water. The site has built a strong reputation for its outlook, with many pitches looking directly out over the loch, and it sits close to the Caledonian Canal and Neptune's Staircase as well as the road towards Glenfinnan and Mallaig.
The park takes tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, and also has a selection of static caravans and wooden camping pods for those wanting a roof without a tent. Facilities include heated shower and toilet blocks, laundry, a small shop for essentials, and hook-ups across the touring pitches, with the site laid out to give reasonable space and privacy between pitches rather than close-packed rows.
Corpach's position makes this a useful base for anyone splitting time between Ben Nevis, the road to Mallaig for the Glenfinnan Viaduct, and the quieter western side of the Ardgour peninsula reached by the Corran ferry. Fort William itself is a short drive or a manageable cycle away along the loch road, keeping the site close to shops and the railway without being in the middle of the summer crowds.
