About Pitchperfect Camping
Pitchperfect Camping occupies a quiet corner of farmland in the village of Woolverton, between Beckington and Norton St Philip, a few miles outside Frome on the Somerset and Wiltshire border. It is a small, family-run site built around spacious grass pitches for tents and small campervans, each roughly ten metres square, giving campers plenty of room without feeling hemmed in by neighbours.
Facilities are well kept rather than extensive: clean toilet and shower blocks with free hot water, a family bathroom, and a central play area with swings, a slide, a sandpit and a trampoline for younger children. Each pitch has its own fire pit, with firewood, kindling and marshmallows available to buy on site, and roaming chickens add to the working-farm feel. The farm shop sells its own free-range eggs alongside homegrown vegetables and other local produce, useful for anyone cooking on site rather than heading into Frome or Bath to eat.
Two furnished wooden cabins sleep up to six guests and a dog, giving a glamping-style alternative for those without their own tent. The site's location makes it a genuinely convenient base for exploring both Frome and Bath, each within a short drive, as well as Longleat and the surrounding Somerset countryside, while remaining quiet enough in the evenings to enjoy a fire pit under open skies.
