Combe Haven Holiday Park

Countryside holiday park on the western edge of St Leonards-on-Sea
About Combe Haven Holiday Park
Combe Haven Holiday Park sits in the shallow valley just inland of St Leonards-on-Sea, a couple of miles west of Hastings town centre, and takes its name from the Combe Haven itself, the wetland and grazing marsh that runs down to the coast nearby. The setting is greener and more sheltered than the clifftop sites closer to Hastings, with the holiday park built around a mix of static caravans and holiday homes alongside touring provision.
On-site facilities are geared towards a self-contained holiday, with a swimming pool, a shop and laundrette, and toilet and shower blocks for the touring and camping pitches, plus a play area for children. The valley setting means more shelter from the Channel winds than an exposed clifftop pitch, at the cost of losing the direct sea view, and the site is a short drive rather than a walk from Hastings Old Town and the seafront.
The surrounding Combe Haven valley is itself worth exploring on foot, with flat, easy paths through the wetland nature reserve good for an evening walk without needing to move the car, and Bexhill and its Regency seafront a similarly short drive in the other direction. The park's position, roughly midway between Hastings and Bexhill, makes it a sensible base for anyone planning to split their time between the two towns.
