Kelling Heath Holiday Park occupies 300 acres of heathland and pine woodland in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, around four miles from Holt on the road towards Weybourne. Touring caravans, motorhomes and tents are accommodated across several named areas of the park, alongside woodland lodges and holiday homes for those who prefer not to bring their own accommodation, so it works equally well for a traditional camping trip or a more comfortable base for a family.
The park's facilities are extensive for a touring site: an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, a health and fitness club, tennis courts, a dog wash station and miles of waymarked walking and cycling trails through the surrounding heath and woodland. A small halt on the Poppy Line heritage railway sits within the park boundary, giving direct access to Holt and Sheringham without needing a car, which is a genuine advantage over most touring parks in the area.
Electric hook-ups are available on the touring pitches, along with modern shower and toilet blocks, an on-site shop and a choice of food and drink outlets. Dogs are welcome on most pitches and in a range of the lodges. Its combination of scale, facilities and heathland setting makes it one of the best-equipped bases for touring the North Norfolk coast from Holt.
