Pinewoods Holiday Park

Norfolk

Coastal touring park among the dunes at Wells-next-the-Sea, ten miles from Holt

About Pinewoods Holiday Park

Pinewoods Holiday Park sits on Beach Road at Wells-next-the-Sea, around ten miles west of Holt, in a long-established position between the town's harbour and the pinewoods that back onto the beach. The touring side of the park, known as Spoonbill Drift, takes caravans and motorhomes on pitches within walking distance of both the dunes and the town's shops, pubs and miniature railway, making it one of the more sociable options for a coastal touring holiday near Holt.

The wider park also includes caravan holiday homes and lodges, but the touring pitches remain its core business, drawing visitors back for the beach access as much as the site itself. A short walk along the sea wall or through the pines leads directly onto the beach, while Wells' harbour, with its crab boats and fish and chip shops, is equally close, so days can be spent without needing to drive at all.

On-site facilities include a shop for essentials, shower and toilet blocks and dog-friendly pitches, with electric hook-ups available across the touring area. It is a popular, well-run park rather than a quiet retreat, so it suits families and groups more than visitors looking for total seclusion, but its beach-front position close to both Wells and Holt is hard to match.
