The hideaway is a real hidden gem. Walk Shanklin’s coastal path on top of the cliffhangers and you’ll pass by. We had a short walk from Shanklin Chine to The Hideaway to have diner. The Food is great, as Well as the service and atmosphere. But the views … these are spectacular.

Having only been on the Island a month and not knowing anyone....I booked a table for one. My roast beef dinner was absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly! I was made to feel so welcome, the service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was chilled and relaxed. I also loved the fact they allow dog. Not many restaurants allow that. I will definitely be going back. 10/10

Fantastic gem of a place. Found it few years ago on another visit and were blown away.by the tasty food and it's quirky style. We revisited and were not disappointed. Booked another visit before we go home. Live music nights. Very dog friendly. Great roasts. Tucked out of the way,but if you know you know.
