About Coldstream Holiday Park
Coldstream Holiday Park sits above the banks of the River Tweed on the edge of Coldstream, around nine miles south-east of Kelso, with panoramic views across the Cheviot Hills and the Eildon Hills beyond. The park combines static caravans and luxury lodges with a dedicated area for touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, giving visitors travelling under their own canvas a genuine choice alongside the holiday home side of the business.
The touring area offers 20 camping pitches, ten of them with electric hookup, along with serviced pitches for caravans and motorhomes and a small cluster of glamping pods for those without their own equipment. A children's play park keeps younger visitors entertained, and dogs are welcome across the touring pitches. The park is within a 15-minute walk of Coldstream town centre, giving access to shops, cafes, pubs and a small museum without needing to drive.
Fishing on the Tweed is a major draw for many guests, with the park close to some of the river's better-known beats, and six golf courses lie within half an hour's drive for visitors combining a camping trip with a round or two. Open for 11 and a half months of the year, the park makes a practical base for exploring both Coldstream and Kelso, with the Border Union Show, Kelso Racecourse and Floors Castle all within a short drive to the north-west.
