About Gatton Waters
Gatton Waters is an adults-only caravan site and coarse fishery in Hillington, around seven miles north-east of King's Lynn and five minutes from the Sandringham Estate. It caters for touring caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and roof-mounted campers, but does not take standard tent camping, and access is restricted to guests aged eighteen and over.
Every pitch has an electric hookup and the site provides free wifi throughout, an unusual combination for a rural Norfolk touring park. At its centre is an eight-acre, well-stocked coarse fishing lake surrounded by woodland and footpaths, and a licensed bar operates at weekends and through the peak season, giving the park a settled, adult-focused atmosphere rather than a family camping one. The site has picked up a run of Campsites.co.uk and Pitchup awards in recent years for its adults-only touring pitches.
Gatton Waters runs a seasonal seven-month calendar, open from late March to early October each year, and its position close to Sandringham and the north Norfolk coast makes it a well-placed, quiet base for older couples or solo tourers wanting easy access to both King's Lynn and the wider coastline without a family-camping environment.
