Esholt Caravan Park

West Yorkshire

Village-set touring park on the Leeds and Bradford border, nine miles from Leeds

About Esholt Caravan Park

Esholt Caravan Park sits in the village of Esholt, best known as the filming location for Emmerdale, on the border between Leeds and Bradford in the Aire Valley. The site offers level grass touring pitches, many with electric hook-up, alongside a modern amenity block and an on-site clubhouse bar that gives it a sociable, community feel rare among touring parks this close to a major city.

It is run as part of the wider Esholt Sports and Social Club and welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, with a straightforward, no-frills approach that suits both weekend breaks and longer stays. The village itself has a couple of pubs and a shop within walking distance, and the surrounding countryside offers gentle riverside and woodland walks along the River Aire.

Esholt is well placed for exploring both Leeds and Bradford, with Saltaire's UNESCO World Heritage mill village a short drive away and the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales within easy reach for a day trip. The park operates seasonally from April to the end of October, and its village setting makes it a good, quiet alternative to sites directly on Leeds's busier arterial roads.
