The Empire Hotel & Spa sits on Church Walks at the foot of the Great Orme, a short walk from the pier and promenade, and has been run by the same family for around 80 years, now into its third generation of ownership. The building keeps a boutique, independently run feel rather than the chain-hotel formality of some of its promenade neighbours, with individually decorated rooms across the main hotel and an adjoining townhouse annexe.

A rooftop swimming pool and separate indoor pool, along with a spa offering a full treatment menu, set it apart from most other hotels in the town at this level, and both are available to overnight guests as part of the room rate.
