About Lynton Cottage Hotel

Lynton Cottage Hotel occupies a Grade II listed Georgian building set in three acres of its own wooded grounds, 500 feet above sea level and facing directly out over Lynmouth Bay and the Bristol Channel. The position, chosen by its original Victorian owners for the view alone, still gives the hotel one of the widest outlooks of any property in either village.

Rooms are individually decorated, several with mahogany king or super-king beds and en suite bathrooms, and the dining room shares the building's panoramic aspect over the bay, where breakfast and traditional English evening meals are served. The grounds and path network connect directly to the Valley of the Rocks and down to Lynmouth harbour, making the hotel a natural base for walkers.

Free parking and wifi are provided throughout, and the setting within Exmoor National Park, combined with direct woodland paths to the coast, has made the hotel a long-standing choice for visitors who want a country-house feel without leaving the villages behind.
