The Rising Sun is a fourteenth-century thatched inn overlooking Lynmouth's small harbour and bay, built into the row of cottages that survived the 1952 flood. It was named Best Destination Pub in Devon in the Muddy Awards 2024, reflecting a reputation built well beyond the village itself.
