Nyth Robin
Gwynedd
A small woodland glamping and touring site near Aberdyfi, ten miles from Machynlleth
About Nyth Robin
Nyth Robin occupies seven acres of private woodland near Aberdyfi, on the coastal side of the Dyfi estuary around ten miles from Machynlleth, within Eryri National Park. It is a deliberately small, eco-conscious site mixing nine touring pitches for campervans, motorhomes and caravans with a scattering of glamping options, including a geodesic dome, bell tent, yurt, converted horsebox and vintage caravan.
The woodland setting gives the site a quiet, easy-going feel rather than a large-resort atmosphere, with campfires permitted on pitches and a wood-fired pizza service adding to the evening routine in season. Electric hook-ups are available on the touring pitches, and dogs are welcome throughout the grounds, making it a popular choice for couples and families travelling with pets.
Its position close to Aberdyfi's beach and golf links, and within easy reach of the Dyfi Osprey Project and the Wales Coast Path, makes Nyth Robin a good coastal alternative to the sites nearer Machynlleth itself, suited to visitors who want a peaceful, small-scale stay with the sea close by rather than a large family holiday park.
