About Victoria Caravan Park
Victoria Caravan Park sits beside the River Ettrick at the rear of Selkirk Leisure Centre, around six miles from Melrose and easily reached along the A7 and A699. The three-acre touring park has sixty pitches on grass and hardstanding, some with electric hook-up, and takes tents, caravans, motorhomes and small campervans.
Recent upgrades have brought a fully refurbished shower block, new access ramps, a rebuilt sluice area and ten additional electric hook-up points, keeping the facilities well ahead of many similarly sized touring parks in the region. Because the site is attached to Selkirk Leisure Centre, campers have access to a twenty-five metre swimming pool, sauna, fitness studio and gym, a genuine point of difference for a site of this size and useful on a wet day in the Borders.
The park is open seasonally between April and September, and bookings are handled through the leisure centre. Its position on the edge of Selkirk, a short drive from Melrose, Abbotsford and the Eildon Hills, makes it a practical base for touring the wider Borders while keeping costs down and enjoying the added benefit of the on-site leisure facilities.
