Club site on North Hill where the town gives way to open Exmoor

About Minehead Camping and Caravanning Club Site

Minehead Camping and Caravanning Club Site occupies a hillside spot on North Hill, right at the point where the town of Minehead gives way to open Exmoor National Park. The site offers around fifty grass and hardstanding pitches, most with electric hook-up, catering for tents, campervans and touring caravans, along with a couple of safari tents for those without their own equipment. Its elevated position on the edge of the moor makes it a genuinely good base for walkers and mountain bikers heading straight out onto Exmoor's tracks.

Facilities include modern shower and toilet blocks, a dishwashing area, a small launderette and motorhome service points, along with Wi-Fi across the site. Despite the Camping and Caravanning Club branding, non-members are welcome to stay and can join on arrival if they wish, so it is not restricted to existing members only. Dogs are welcome, with dedicated walks nearby making it a popular choice for those touring with pets.

Minehead town centre, with its shops, harbour and seafront, is around a mile and a half away, an easy walk or short drive, giving guests the choice of a quiet, semi-rural pitch at night with full access to the resort's amenities during the day. The site's position off the A39 also makes it a straightforward stop for those touring further into Exmoor or along the Somerset coast.
