St Cyrus Park sits close to the village of St Cyrus, on the Aberdeenshire coast a short drive north of Montrose, and is well placed for the long sandy beach and the St Cyrus National Nature Reserve that give this stretch of coastline its reputation among walkers and birdwatchers. The site takes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, alongside static holiday homes available for sale or rental, and operates on a year-round basis rather than the shorter seasons typical of many touring sites.
Onsite facilities include a shop, a takeaway food outlet and a café, along with a children's play area and laundry facilities, making it a practical choice for families staying for more than a night or two who want some amenities on site rather than relying entirely on the village. The park's setting between the beach and the low, rolling farmland behind gives it a quieter, more open feel than sites closer to Montrose itself.
St Cyrus village retains a small shop and a couple of places to eat, and the nature reserve immediately to the north is known for its red sandstone cliffs, rare cliffside plants and nesting seabirds in summer. Montrose itself is around 15 minutes away by car, making the park a workable base for day trips into town while keeping a quieter coastal setting to come back to in the evening.
