Great accommodation and very clean. A very short walk to a beautiful beach. Daily visits from the peacocks add a special something as well. Definitely recommend.

Amazing place to stay. Even though there's a lot of cottages and it is family friendly, it's a very peaceful place. Ideal for getting to the beach and all the tourist attractions. Only downside was take your own duvet if you have room. They were very lumpy and didn't stay on the bed or in the duvet cover very well. Otherwise a brilliant stay. We didn't take our dog in the end but the rules on having dogs in the house is very strict so you need a very behaved dog to stay there

Stayed here for a week with my wife and kids. Positives - lovely and quiet location. Ideal for those looking for a relaxing stay. Quite to a lovely sandy beach with rocks at each end to explore. Perhaps a 5-10 minute walk depending on whether I went with kids or not. The grounds have a great park for kids. Complete with swings, climbing frame, see saw and two football goals with net. The kids played here often. The cottage was clean and tidy on arrival. Negatives Some privacy to unwind would be great. All the properties overlook each other and you can't properly relax. The centre of the accommodation is a courtyard with all the patio areas pointing towards this, not exactly private. Our kitchen area pointed directly into the conservatory of the next property. Where the couple spent a lot of time. It meant avoiding awkward eye contact every time we were in the kitchen, cooking or doing dishes etc. A number of friendly peacocks roam freely around the grounds. Whilst they're lovely to look at and exciting to see, they crap EVERYWHERE. Made our decking/patio area unusable. They're quite large too so it's like medium sized dog crap everywhere. The owner was very rude to us upon leaving. It was raining heavily whilst packing the car to leave and I rolled our car onto the grass area in front of the lodge. Mainly due to the weather and to accommodate a mobility disability. The owner came across quite aggressively and stopped us when we were leaving, shouting and being rude. There was no damage to the grass. Because we checked. It left us quite shaken. Absolutely zero personal skills. For the above reasons and whilst it was lovely, we won't be back.

Second time staying here and just as lovely. The cottages are well equipped and cosy, with easy access to the beach. Fantastic for children with the on-site play area and short stroll to the beach. Very quiet and a lovely place to relax and unwind.
