Oban Holiday Park
Argyll and Bute
Waterside touring park and glamping pods ten minutes from Oban
About Oban Holiday Park
Set at Gallanachmore on the Sound of Kerrera, Oban Holiday Park is around ten minutes' drive from Oban town centre and looks directly across the water to the Isle of Kerrera. The park offers a mix of non-electric grass pitches for tents and campervans, electric grass and hardstanding pitches for tourers and motorhomes, and a growing range of glamping options including hot tub lodges and pods for those wanting a more comfortable stay without a tent.
On-site facilities cover shower and toilet blocks, a children's playground and a dedicated dog walking area, with an on-site shop open through the main summer season from July to October. Wi-Fi is available at reception and within the rental accommodation, though pitch guests should not expect a strong signal across the whole field. Campfires and barbecues are permitted, and the site's spring water supply, while safe, is recommended for boiling before drinking.
The setting is the main draw here: the water views across to Kerrera are particularly striking at sunset, and the site is well placed for day trips to Mull via the Oban ferry, walks along the Sound of Kerrera, and evenings back in Oban's harbourside restaurants and pubs. Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch, and the park caters well to families thanks to the playground and the glamping options' hot tubs.
