North Ledaig Caravan Park

Argyll and Bute

Family-run seashore park near Connel with views to Mull

About North Ledaig Caravan Park

North Ledaig Caravan Park has been run by the same family since 1962 and sits on around 30 acres of shoreline at Connel, roughly six miles north of Oban, with open views across the water to the Isle of Mull. It is affiliated to the Caravan and Motorhome Club and takes tents, touring caravans and motorhomes on a mix of grass and hardstanding pitches, many with 16-amp electric hook-up.

Facilities include an accessible shower room, laundry, washing-up areas, a baby and toddler room, and a small on-site shop selling bread, milk and other essentials with full disabled access. A dog walking area is provided for those travelling with pets, and a late-arrivals section with hook-up suits guests arriving after check-in hours, useful given the site's position on the main road north.

Connel village, with its shops, pubs and the dramatic Falls of Lora tidal rapids beneath the bridge, is within walking distance, and Oban itself is a short drive south, making this a good base for combining a quieter coastal setting with easy access to the town and its ferries.
