Me and my partner stayed at the Yurt for our anniversary, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect escape. From the moment we arrived, we were in awe of how cute, secluded and peaceful everything was. It really felt like we’d stepped away from the real world for a few days. The yurt itself was incredibly cosy, with beautiful artwork that made it feel so unique and welcoming. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, and we both slept so well. One of our favourite surprises was the visits from Shona’s two lovely dogs, they definitely added to the charm of our stay! Shona was an amazing host. She was so friendly and thoughtful, leaving us fresh water, tea, coffee, snacks, disposable BBQs and plenty of wood for the log burner. She also gave us her private number in case we needed anything, which made us feel really well looked after while still having complete privacy. The location is perfect if you’re looking to switch off. It’s wonderfully off the beaten track, with beautiful walks right on your doorstep and such a peaceful atmosphere. We spent our time relaxing, enjoying the surroundings and simply appreciating how special the place is. We’d recommend this stay to any couple looking for a romantic getaway or to solo travellers wanting some peace and quiet. We absolutely loved our time here and will definitely be back. Thank you, Shona, for creating such a magical place, we’ve come home feeling completely refreshed.
