This gorgeous campsite is so picturesque - the toilet and shower facilities were probably the best we've seen, and eco to boot. Loved the friendly chickens who pootled over on their rounds to say hello, and the views were lovely. The Red Onion Cafe on site is fantastic, do not miss it - we had a fantastic vegan brekkie in the lovely outdoor (but undercover) garden. All staff were so helpful and friendly. This has been our best campsite experience yet. Go when it's the folk festival in Abergwaun (Fishguard) on the late May bank holiday and that's one wholesome, life-affirming, dreamy weekend for you!

Beautiful field with sea view. Very quiet as only 3 pitches in camper van field. We had our own bathroom; toilet, sink and shower, luxury. Very friendly owners and food in cafe was great. We booked Paella night which was fab food and great atmosphere. We will be back.

This is a lovely campsite with meadows and a view over the sea and harbour at Fishguard. We had a private toilet and shower which were both clean and warm. We were given good info about the site and surrounding area when checking in, were able to buy logs and eggs from our hosts and there was small well equipped indoor kitchen that was very handy. Quite, peaceful and lots of nature (including the chickens!).

Liked Around 20 Free range chickens wandering peacefully around tents and vans! Site was fairly quiet so we were allocated a bathroom / shower/ toilet with our name on for exclusive use. Nice touch. Lovely views across to Fishguard Harbour and the sea front. The site was nicely situated in the countryside but is well located with just a short 10-15 minute walk into centre of Fishguard. We were a little late arriving but site owner Gareth was patiently waiting for us with a warm welcome. We were left to our own devices after that and not disturbed. The small communal cabin is very well stocked and has lots of useful facilities, games, books, and good information boards. All plumbing worked excellently and shower was warm and clean. Picnic table and firepit available next to the pitch. Disliked Only downside for us was the approach road to the campervan sites which is a bit of a building site / assortment of industrial waste material and unfinished projects. For children playing close to this area there might be a dangerous temptation for exploration. The recycling area could be closer to the sites and we couldn't use the food waste area due to not having any compostable bags with us (maybe provide these?). Shame that we were unable to access the cafe/shop for the 2 days we were there but we do appreciate that it is October and a little out of season.
