Blair Castle Caravan Park

Perthshire

Parkland site on the Blair Castle estate, seven miles north of Pitlochry

About Blair Castle Caravan Park

Blair Castle Caravan Park occupies part of the wooded estate parkland surrounding Blair Castle, ancestral seat of the Dukes of Atholl, around seven miles north of Pitlochry near the village of Blair Atholl. The setting is genuinely distinctive, with pitches spread among mature trees and open grassland within sight of the castle's turrets, and the River Tilt running along the estate boundary.

The park is large by Highland standards, taking tents, touring caravans and motorhomes across a mix of open and more sheltered wooded pitches, with a shop, laundry and modern shower block on site, along with a playground for families. Its estate setting gives direct walking access to Blair Castle's grounds and gardens, as well as onward paths into Glen Tilt, one of Highland Perthshire's classic long glen walks, and it sits close to Blair Atholl's own railway station on the same line as Pitlochry.

The park is open through the main camping season from spring to autumn and is well used by families and touring visitors alike, thanks to its combination of estate scenery, glen walking straight from the pitch, and easy road and rail access back down to Pitlochry and the wider A9 corridor.
